Muskegon, Mich. – With the Clark Cup Playoff push in full effect, Muskegon Lumberjacks skaters Charlie Taft and Alexx Privitera will star on the team’s weekly radio program tonight to talk about the United States Hockey League’s regular-season homestretch.
“Breaking Out the Lumberjacks” takes place live at Racquets Downtown Grill, 446 W. Western Ave.
and airs on 98.3 FM WLCS. It’s hosted by Jacks broadcaster Christopher Heimerman and features an
appearance by Jacks Head Coach Kevin Patrick.
Taft, and Edina, Minn., native, set a pair of Lumberjacks record in a 5-0 victory over the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders on Friday night. His five-point night and +5 plus/minus rating are both high-water marks for the expansion franchise. He registered the Jacks’ third hat trick of the season and added two assists against the second-place Riders.
Privitera, whose 32 points are tied for the lead among the league’s defensemen, had an assist on Friday night. The Old Tappan, N.J., native is committed to Boston University.
