MUSKEGON, MI- The Muskegon Lumberjacks have finalized and announced their 2017-18 regular season schedule, and are set to drop the puck on October 6th in Lincoln.
Big nights for the Jacks include Military Night on November 11th, Muskegon Fury Night on November 25th, and Jacks Fight Cancer Night on March 31st.
After a season-opening road trip to face the Stars and Des Moines Buccaneers, the Jacks return to LC Walker Arena for their home opener on October 13th against the defending Clark Cup Champion Chicago Steel.
The Lumberjacks will have only one road trip longer than three games, a four-gamer to close out the regular season. Meanwhile, the Jacks will be at home for six consecutive from October 28 to November 12.
The Lumberjacks will face the Youngstown Phantoms eight times in 2017-18, the most contests against a single opponent. This continues a rivalry that was incredibly close in nine games last year, with Muskegon edging Youngstown five games to four.
The Jacks will take on the defending champion Steel a total of seven times, and will host Chicago in four of those games.
In the 2017-18 campaign, Muskegon will host Sioux City, Omaha and Tri-City, three western conference foes that did not travel to LC Walker Arena last season.
