MUSKEGON, MI - The Muskegon Lumberjacks have announced their preseason schedule, a seven-game slate that includes games against both USHL and NAHL opponents.

The Jacks have also announced that single game tickets for both preseason and the 2019-20 regular season games will go on sale Wednesday, September 4 @ 11am at the L.C. Walker Arena Team Store, or online at muskegonlumberjacks.com.

Muskegon will begin their preseason schedule with a series of home scrimmages against the Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League. The series begins Friday, September 6th and concludes on Saturday, September 7th. The schedule for the series at L.C. Walker Arena is compact, allowing fans to see four games in slightly more than 24 hours. Friday’s games will begin at 3:30pm and 6:00pm, with Saturday’s games scheduled for 1:30pm and 4:00pm. All four scrimmages are open to the public, free of charge.

The following weekend on Friday, September 13th, Muskegon will play at home versus the Chicago Steel. Game Time at the L.C. Walker Arena is at 6:30pm. Tickets for the game on the 13th will be $5 for students 17 and under and $8 for adults.

The Lumberjacks conclude preseason competition on Friday, September 20th against Team USA. This game is Muskegon’s annual school day game and is already SOLD OUT. The 10:30am puck drop will be broadcast live on HockeyTV and the Jacks’ mixlr station.

Following last year’s Eastern Conference regular-season championship, the Jacks return a strong core of young players, headlined by forwards Danil Gushchin and Alex Gaffney. Gushchin led all 2002-born players last year with 16 goals and 36 points.

Due to downtown construction and the pending closure of the main entrance on Fourth Street, parking can be found in the Western Avenue Lot. Entry to the arena is through the arena’s doors on Western Avenue. The Team Store is located off the concourse next to Rad Dads’.
