MUSKEGON, MI- The Muskegon Lumberjacks have released their 30-man roster and 18-player affiliate list.

The Lumberjacks’ roster will be among the most experienced in the USHL, with 11 returning regulars from last year’s team, plus five more that played in at least one game for the Jacks.

Additionally, Muskegon will bring in four forwards with tier-one junior hockey experience, including two that played in the USHL last season.

“We have a group of very good, veteran defensemen on the back end,” said general manager Ryan Bennett. “We’ve also got experience up front to go with size, strength and grit.”

Muskegon’s returning players are headlined by goaltender Keegan Karki and defensemen Colby Bukes and Alex Yakovenko. Also returning for Muskegon will be forwards Benito Posa, Nolan Sullivan, Jagger Joshua, Egor Afanasyev and Cam Knuble. In addition to Bukes and Yakovenko; Nash Nienhuis, Matt Staudacher, Hunter Skinner and Cam McDonald return to patrol the blue line for Muskegon.
